- Promote the hotel and where possible, hotel belonging to the chain in his/her area/region.
- To achieve optimal sales in the best possible conditions for the company.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the sales team in consultation with the Director/Asst. Director of Sales on all matters.
- The performance of the Sales Manager will be determined solely by the productivity of the overall results in Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit.
- Performs his/her duties within the framework defined by the chain and hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by the Director of Sales under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing for all sales personnel within designated zone.
- Assist in drawing up the marketing plan by gathering market intelligence annually.
- Keeps a record on all former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.
- Promote the hotel as often as possible through entertaining, conducting site inspections, presentations, etc. of the hotel.
- Coordinate details of events such as conferences, charity event, business meeting , press conference etc.
- At all times to promote a positive image of the hotel in all forms of contact.
- Develop and foster close and positive support with the public, guests, clients and member of the trade.
- Maybe called upon to undertake activities outside his/her own area.
